Community First Health Plans goes live with its Healthx portal

September 2, 2011 by Healthx Marketing

Indianapolis, IN – September 02, 2011 – San Antonio-based Community First Health Plans (CFHP) just launched its new Member and Provider portals for over 130,000 of its members.

The non-profit organization partnered with leading software company Healthx to replace their former portal provider. CFHP, which provides several Texas counties with Medicaid, CHIP, ASO, and commercial small group health care benefits, required better management of its DST Amysis Advance 5.0 product to administer claims and eligibility for their various products.

Under the direction of Healthx Implementation Manager, Joy Quinn and CFHP Project Manager, Brittany McDermott, Healthx unrolled both portals for the health plan in under 60 days. CFHP chose Healthx due to their extensive industry experience, flexibility of their product, pricing model, and the ability to easily customize workflow processes.

Both CFHP and Healthx complimented the overall team atmosphere in working together and each credited the success of the overall project to the structural and management skills of both organizations.
