Healthx Announces the Release of Mobile Services

October 11, 2011 by Healthx Marketing

Indianapolis, IN – October 10 , 2011 – Leading software technology firm, Healthx, announced the release of Healthx Mobile Services (HMS) in early 2012. HMS allows payers to have their own custom-branded app available for members to download on their smartphones.

The apps will be available in the iTunes, Windows, RIM, and Android app markets, where members can download to access a Provider Directory, request replacement ID cards, view Medical and Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) claims information, access Eligibility, and view Flexible Spending Account (FSA) balances and lab data all on their phones. HMS will furnish members with a more convenient way to access their self-service Member Portal.

Healthx, which is already HIPAA-compliant, has coded the applications with multiple security features to ensure that all healthcare information is protected. Healthx built the HMS platform using the highest level of secure encryption.

The organization’s technological flexibility also allows payer clients to brand their specific app within the marketplace, making it easier to engage their own clients and garner exposure for their organization. HMS app design is comparable to other mobile apps, in order to make them easily navigable for users.

The applications are slated to join the Android, Windows, RIM, and iTunes Healthcare Apps markets in January of 2012.
